Unofficially done with my pre-uni studies!
Finished our last paper on Thursday and I'm breathing easier now. But that won't be long. I'll be moving forward to my Degree in Law by end of June given that I passed all my subjects.
I'll be flying back home soon and I still haven't pack nor plan activities for this break. I do, however, have plans for the end of my break, and I'm super excited about it! :D
So I went through one year of pre-law education... 3 Trimesters of emotions, activities, people. I just have to go through 4 more of this and I'll be off to really spread my wings.
To be frank, I'm looking forward to the end of my time in MMU because of reasons. I know I should appreciate my time here and fully immerse myself in this experience, a graduating friend told me to enjoy my uni life tremendously coz I'll only get one shot at this. Well I guess just because I want this to end doesn't mean I don't enjoy myself now. I do. I join clubs, hang out with friends, stay up late for random things, eating at mamak at 3am, roadtrips... I do enjoy my life now. But yeah, thinking of the loans I'd rake up by the end of this 4 years gives me panic attacks and makes me stressed out about getting First Class Honours so I won't have to repay PTPTN. It's hard and in a way beyond my control, but I HAVE to try and do my best. The only problem is that I'm pretty sure if I failed to achieve what I want, I'll feel like I didn't give my best, or that my best just isn't enough.
I guess I'm just scared of the feeling of failing myself.
But HEY! Sem Break is here and I can unwind for nearly a month so I should be happy!
Here's to a marvelous sem break with amazing memories (and photographs as keepsake!)!

Hi, you've started your law degree right? Can you tell me more about that? Thanks ya!
ReplyDeleteHello! What d'you like to know about? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm taking A-Levels and I'll get my result by next year Jan. When will be the earliest intake in 2017 and is the offer for law degree very limited?
ReplyDeleteMMU only offers June intake every year, so you can enroll then. We are told that seats are quite limited. Most of the time, when applicants can't get in LLB with their pre-u result, they'll be offered Foundation in Law. You can start applying for 2017 June Intake in April I think :)
ReplyDeleteI see. How about transportation? Is it hard for us to go out if we don't have our own car?
DeleteThere're plenty of places to stay in nearby. All within 5-20 mins walking distance. I stay in Ixora Apartment which is next to MMU and accessible by the MMU back gate. Other options are Emerald Residence, Emerald Park (which is on a shoplot), and Terrace Houses.
DeleteYou can choose to stay on campus too. MMU has hostels available.
